The UwMic9 is remarkably easy to use and it works right out of the box. You just plug in the mics, turn on the power and go. It utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is not impacted by the FCC’s ban of the 600 MHz frequencies. An automatic-scan feature locates the best available channel for you and the infrared synchronization makes the process a snap. There are 2 banks of 96 channels available, which enables you to run multiple sets of UwMic9 systems at the same time without issues. Easy-to-read backlit LCD displays on both of the transmitters and the receiver let you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The RX9 receiver also includes a headphone output, enabling real-time audio monitoring which is vital if your camera lacks a headphone output.

Because the TX9s are wired with the standard 3.5mm TRS pin-out, allowing for use with hundreds of lavalier, headset, instrument and gooseneck microphones. Including the premium-quality Saramonic DK3 Lavalier, water-proof DK5 Lavalier, DK6 low-profile headset mic, or the UMIC-M2 mini-gooseneck mic. The TX9s also feature a handy muting feature if the person wearing the clip-on lavalier microphone needs privacy, and a flashing red LED reminds you to unmute it afterward. And the TX9 transmitters and RX9 receiver both have a power-locking feature to prevent them from accidentally being turned off when in use.
